Do exhibitors take card payment?

Accepted Answer

Not all exhibitors take card payment therefore we advise you bring cash with you if you are likely to make a purchase at the event. For more costly purchases exhibitors generally take payment after the event or do have the facilities to accept card payments.

Is Sight Village suitable for people under the age of 10?

Sight Village is of benefit to people of all ages living with sight loss. The exhibition provides an opportunity for families to find out more about what support is available to them locally and nationally and to try out the latest products and technology designed to assist people who are blind and

Will there be sighted guides available when I get to the event?

Accepted Answer

We try to ensure that we have sighted guides available at each of our events. We cannot guarantee that there will be someone available immediately upon your arrival as they may already be assisting other visitors. As we also rely heavily on volunteers, this cannot always be a guaranteed service.

When do the events go quieter (what are the peak times)?

Sight Village events are usually at their busiest during the morning. We advise visitors who would prefer to attend the event during quieter times to arrive just before lunch time or from 1pm onwards.

Accepted Answer

Yes, Food and drinks are available to purchase at all of our Sight Village events. The food provided is generally deli/café style with a variety of; hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cold snacks to choose from. We advise visitors to bring cash as card payment is not always accepted and there may n

How can I pre-register to attend a Sight Village event?

Accepted Answer

All of our events are free to attend. Pre-booking is recommended as it will speed up the arrival process and ensure that we do not exceed the venue capacity. You can pre-register for each event separately via the Eventbrite link on the events page or by calling one of the team on 0121 803 5484.
